Dear August,
you are to be sure, a lovely month. You are a most excellent twelfth of the year. To be brief, you are marvelous!
You are to my way of thinking a gray month, but it is not the gray of dreariness or bordom, you are the soft gray of summer heat. You are a month unlike other months, and June has nothing on you.
Yes, I do understand that several people have decided to get married in you, but do not be confused. Let June have it’s storms and hurricanes, you are meant to be hot and drive families and couples to the beach.
So please, dear August, do us all a favor and be yourself.
P.S. Stop raining everywhere!
